Just in case you were wondering how I got into Betfair and what kind of success I had trading on Betfair you can check out the new About page which explains it all and has my full trading results for 2003, 2004 and 2005. These figures are from info@betfair.com and prove that I have made over GBP100,000 profit trading the favourite in the last 10 minutes before the off on Betfair's UK horseracing markets, and that I have placed well over 50 million pounds worth of bets.
The trading reports and accompanying comments regarding Adam's trading make an excellent read. Thanks for sharing them, Adam. Just a couple of questions though.
I noticed the odd massive loss, nearly 3 grand on one particular day. Was this due to having to let a position go in play due to loss of connection or pc crash?
Also, many of your days profits were double or even triple compared to the demos using your own app. Is there a particular reason for that?

Hi Guys, sorry for not getting back to you, I got married this month and have been on my honeymoon and haven't been on the computer.
The 3 grand loss was actually nothing to do with horseracing, I was drunk while round at a mate's house watching basketball and thought it might be a good idea to put my whole bank on the detroit pistons just as the Lakers equalised with 2.4 seconds to go. very silly.
No plans for a Betdaq application I'm afraid, for one I don't reckon their API would be any good if it's anything like their site and secondly betfair made me agree that I wouldn't. Not much point anyway except maybe for an arbitrage feature, as far as trading is concerned you're best sticking with betfair, betdaq isn't in the same league.
